16 June 2022 UCP STUDETNS VISIT

Mr. Farrukh Iqbal, Assistant Professor, and Mustafa Hanan Mehboob MBA(SCM),CSCP, CLTD, Lecturer, supervised a group of BBA Operation Management students from the University Of Central Punjab, Business School, Lahore, who visited Ittehad Chemicals Ltd., Lahore on June 16, 2022. Their objectives were to observe the integration of theory and knowledge with practical application in a professional setting.

Dr. Asmat N. Khattak from HR gave students an overview of the company’s best practices for talent attraction, retention, and recruiting.

Muhammad Iftikhar Anjum – CSCP (APICS US), LSSBB from Logistics presented an overview of end-to-end Supply Chain & Operations, as well as an outline of Supply Chain future trends or human capital needs in the field, with the possibility for broad AI implementation in the near future. The impact of the current supply chain disruption on corporate performance and staff motivation to succeed was also explained to the students.

Mr. Hamza Ibrahim from Manufacturing gave an overview of the operations process flow and comprehensive process steps in company’s product production.

We hope that students will have a better understanding of operation management and supply chain practices, as well as other linked operations tools, as a result of this industrial visit.
